Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions

The Clinique 3 step routine was introduced to me by my sister as she bought me the face wash as a birthday present along with the anti blemish foundation. So I went along and purchased the clarifying lotion, the moisturiser and the concealer so I had a complete set. The foundation is AMAZING. It's not got as good coverage as Estee Lauder Double Wear but it is BRILLIANT in staying put and not letting the shine show through. I hate it when my foundation slides off my face within half an hour! It is well worth the money if you struggle with oily skin but don't mind a really full coverage. It retails at £22.

The face wash and clarifying lotion I will be purchasing again as I absolutely love the way they make my skin feel. And, the fact they are fragrance free, have simple, clean, lovely looking packaging is a winner in my eyes!! The moisturiser, I feel didn't do much for my skin though and I could use any bog-standard moisturiser and not notice a difference on that front! Each of those are about £15? If i remember rightly!

Garnier BB Cream For Oily Skin

I can honestly say, that when the hype surrounding BB creams emerged, I wasn't sure whether it would be for me. I thought it would be like one of the tinted moisturisers I tried years ago, which was utter rubbish!
It has skin perfecting properties in it and an SPF in it, minimises pores and all other nice things.
I purchased the Garnier BB Cream for combination to oily skin in the colour 'Light', when I was out shopping with one of  my friends and it was also on offer in Boots.
First impressions were good. The packaging is nice and the bottle with the product in it is nice!
I put it on with a MAC 187 buffing/foundation brush and the coverage is amazing. I always put concealer on blemishes that are a bit more stubborn and then powder and my face doesn't go shiny at all throughout the day, and that is what I look for in a foundation. I have been wearing it every day since I bought it and will be purchasing another botttle when it runs out!!

Newbie!

I follow a lot of blogs and thought it was about time I started my own, as I have a lot of things that I like, that I would like to write about.
I will start with my new outfit I purchased from ASOS. I was invited out on saturday night to Bristol for my friend Kailee's birthday celebrations. It involved going to a very exclusive cockail bar in Bristol which included ringing the door bell to get inside and a fancy meal at a swanky restaurant called San Carlo. I thought I would get an outfit that was smart but not too dressy. As I have only had a baby 3 months ago I thought black was the best colour!

Dress, Blazer, Clutch, Shoes, Black tights and I ended up painting my nails with Models Own in Beach Party.
